Hi, I'm Stephanie!

I started Brighter Colors in the summer of 2021, but my passion for photography goes back a little further than that.

Picture this: It's 2007. Facebook is gaining momentum. The act of documenting your daily experiences and uploading them to social media in an album called "Randoms!" is what everyone is up to. Getting that perfect profile photo is top priority, and you want to have a shot that everyone will talk about.

And that's where I come in.

I started with self portraits, which lead to taking portraits of my friends. Eventually, my photo style shifted to include editorial style portraits, candid shots at parties, and the occasional food shot for the 'gram.
